Why Kids Love it

Children of all ages will love having their own swimming pool (5m x 8m, with a maximum depth of 1.4m), which can be heated in the cooler months and also offers a hydromassage feature. The spacious pool area is great for playing, furnished with fun colorful bean bags for kids to relax alongside parents. This region is also great for kids: every town has fantastic pizza or pasta restaurants and there are endless sandy beaches running alongside the Adriatic coastline (30 minutes away) with safe shallow waters and buzzy beach bars open in the summer months.

Things to Know

Check in: 5pm. Check out: 10am. Linen and all towels are included. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements. The pool can be heated for an additional fee of €500 per week, payable locally in cash (heated to a maximum temperature of 26/27 degrees). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures. Pets may be welcome on request. The property comes with AC, satellite TV, stereo system and alarm system.

About the Location

The villa is located in San Michele Salentino in Puglia, Italy. A 5-minute drive takes you to the nearest village where there is a handful of restaurants, as well as a pharmacy, supermarket and bakery. It’s 7km from the little town of San Vito Dei Normanni, which boasts an ancient castle, baroque church and olive oil museum. For day trips, head to Ostuni (20 minutes away) known as ‘The White City’, which features a maze of alleyways, fantastic views from its hilltop perch, and a 15th-century gothic cathedral. Brindisi and the east coast beaches are just over half an hour away. Alberobello (1 hour away) has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status thanks to its iconic Trulli architecture. The closest airports are Brindisi (30 minutes) or Bari (1.5 hours).

Accommodation Details

The property has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. On the ground floor you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, mixer, food processor, ice machine and lemon squeezer. There’s an open plan living area with a TV and sofabed (for 1 additional guest, on request) and 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. There’s also a lower ground floor with a laundry room and WC. Outside, there’s an outdoor bar with a fridge, dishwasher and ice machine, together with alfresco dining areas, comfy seating areas, sun loungers, a hammock, an outdoor shower and barbecue. Parking is available outside and car rental is essential.

Style Notes

Modern and minimal. Authentic yet elegant, this idyllic home features exposed stone vaults typical of the architecture in this region. The arched ceilings, white walls and minimalist décor create a bright and spacious feel, especially in the open-plan kitchen/living area, where sunshine floods in through glass doors which open out onto the terrace. Designer furniture and sleek finishings add a modern touch throughout. We love the sleek and minimalist pool area, the all-white integrated kitchen and that stunning marble bar centerpiece.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 12 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 12 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 12 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to make a booking (or full payment if booking within 12 weeks of arrival). If you have paid a deposit, the final balance is payable 12 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. Once this has been paid, it is non-refundable.
