Why Kids Love it

There’s plenty of space for kids to choose their own room, and they’ll love having the top floor bedroom accessed by a colorful spiral staircase. Putney Common is 5 minutes walk, if the kids need a run-around, or you can walk a little further to Barnes Common where there is a large children’s playground. For wildlife lovers, visit the WWT London Wetlands center (5 minutes’ drive) or take a trip to the All England Lawn Tennis Club at Wimbledon (10 minutes’ drive) for a taste of sporting history.

Things to Know

No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. This home is over 3 floors, so there are a fair few steps. One of the beds is located on a little mezzanine and accessed by a ladder, involving a very small climb. There's a double sofabed in the TV room that could sleep a further 2 guests if needed. This home comes equipped with extra speedy broadband.

About the Location

The house is located in the leafy Putney neighborhood, a welcome retreat for the city, yet within easy reach via the District Line subway (Putney station, 15 minutes’ walk). You can hop on the Thames riverboat from Putney Pier (10 minutes’ walk) to sail up the water into central London via a more picturesque route. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops within walking distance, and lots of parks and green spaces in this residential area. Heathrow airport is around half an hour by car.

Style Notes

Elegant Edwardian. This well-designed house is decorated with fresh light tones, large windows and sleek furnishings. The living room peppers its classic townhouse aesthetic with a modernist touch, expertly combining clean lines with retro curves and simple contrasts with pops of color. We love the eye-catching modern artwork featuring abstract shapes and vibrant colors, the quirky whiteboard wall in the bedroom and the beautiful large bay windows.

Putney and Barnes, London

London's leafiest corner in the South West of the city is known for its charming village feel, green open spaces and riverside walks.

Also the starting point of the famous annual university Boat Race, this affluent area is home to a bustling high street of shops and restaurants, as well as countless sports grounds and the WWT London Wetlands Wildlife center. All this, and yet it's less than half an hour from the heart of the capital.
