The East Putney Brook Road Residence

Wonderful stay! Everything was spotless and the house itself is modern, airy and well designed.

Our family throughly enjoyed this well-designed space. It was a joy to spend time in such a clean, well-appointed “tiny house.” My favorite space was sitting on the couch, where I could read and sip tea and enjoy looking out the large windows. Because of its strategic layout it didn’t feel all that tiny for the four of us, even with a travel cot for the babe set up. The high ceilings and windows create a really very spacious feeling. The linens and textiles throughout were comfortable and high-quality. I found the pillows too thick, but that’s a personal preference (I always travel with our own pillows because we often find that to be the case). We found the family entirely friendly. They helped us get wood to start a small fire outside the cabin, and we also had another small fire down by the stream, which is a quiet place to sit and enjoy the outdoors (and for the kids to explore). It was a great location - felt out of the way and quiet but was actually very close to amenities in town. The co-op and the general store both had great food provisions for meals on the go as well as meals to take back to the cabin to heat in the toaster oven. We also hiked up Putney Mountain one morning. Last note / their dog and cat were very friendly and came and checked us out. We also appreciated the fresh-ground coffee!

Andrea and her family went above and beyond to accommodate us during these 'weird times' at their beautiful Tiny House in Southern VT! While it is definitely off the beaten track, it contains everything a small family would need to enjoy a few days both down at the little creek behind the house and exploring the area. Location is an easy drive to nearby Putney Village and the mini-city of Brattleboro, with cafes, restaurants (yes, even in these weird times!), cute shops. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. They have a very friendly cat and a super sweet dog who come and go around the property. The house itself has a very cozy feel to it with a comfy couch, blanket, and pillows. The minimalist but intentional decor is arranged to be practical as well as beautiful. As advertised, it is a tiny space but the windows and general layout make it feel more than doable. I especially love natural light and open windows and so it was perfect to appreciate the beautiful summer weather! Andrea was very communicative and helpful, especially so when the wifi temporarily went out and my husband needed it for a work call the following morning. We appreciated all the little touches to make it feel like home and very much enjoyed our two-night getaway. Highly recommend!

The tiny house exceeded all expectations. Clean, modern, and fun! Our family enjoyed disconnecting from the day-to-day grind and exploring nature's beauty. Trails on the property lead to an amazing stream that our children loved to play in and run along. It felt like we stepped into another world in the woods and we've found ourselves saying that we need to go back! Thank you for welcoming our family and for sharing your wonderful tiny home.

We couldn't has asked for anything more during our stay at the Tiny Timberframe house! It was perfect in every way and my son is already referring to it has "daddy's birthday house" - so I guess that means we'll be back next year which I am so excited about! My 4yr old loved bunking with my husband on the loft, so don't be deterred if you have little ones :) Andrea was full of the best suggestions, and we found ourselves hiking The Pinnacle (Holden Trail) and Putney Mountain with our boys (4 & 2) - boy were we rewarded at the top of each! Incredible views and even some sheep at the top of Putney! Hanging around the house was equally as fun for us :) We probably frequented the General Store 5x during our 3 day stay - they have the BEST sandwiches there to pack for a hike - and thoroughly enjoyed take-out from Katy's. On our way out of town we hit up Retreat Farm which was the perfect ending to our weekend away! That place was AMAZING and boys LOVED it; we cannot wait to go back - with some more time set aside next time in order to take advantage of some of their hiking trails, too! My family had such a great time exploring the Putney/Brattleboro area. Andrea and her family were great hosts- helpful and friendly. We had so much fun at Retreat Farm, visiting local restaurants and the Farmer's Market, and going blueberry picking, but my kids favorite part was exploring the brook behind the house! All three have asked me repeatedly about when we will go back, and I hope it will be soon!

Our family of four (1 & 3 y/o) had a marvelous weekend at the Tiny Timeframe Residence. The place was bright, super clean, and beautiful. There was plenty of room for our pack and play! We explored Putney and Brattleboro. We picked beautiful organic blueberries at Dwight Miller Orchards, strolled through the Brattleboro Farmers Market, and had a blast playing on the wooden farm tractor and seeing the animals at the Retreat Farm. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Whetstone Station, The Marina, and enjoyed great wine from the Putney Winery inside Basketville. Thanks again Andrea!

This house was a beautiful marvel of design, every detail was thoughtful and convenient. The woods behind were gorgeous and so much fun to explore. Even when it rained for half our stay and 5 of us were inside together we played cards and read books and it was cozy and lovely. When the sun came back out we did some wonderful exploring in the area. Thank you, Andrea, for being such a helpful and friendly host! My kids are still talking about Milo and Ava! :)

My husband and I stayed here just 3 months after our baby was born. It was the most wonderful little vacation. The space is immaculate, the nature trails beautiful and the hosts are very friendly in case you need anything - even directions into town.
