Style Notes

Neo-traditional. This beauty of a Victorian house has been imaginatively, and boldly, re-designed with elegant and thoughtful detailing throughout. Deservedly featured in home style magazines, its artful renovation included the addition of bespoke joinery and furniture, hand picked art, vintage treasures and a sprinkling of creative re-configuration. Traditional features have been reinterpreted with a sense of playfulness and fun to create a joyous and inviting space. From the bold chequerboard tiling in the bathroom and kitchen to the bright floral textiles, patterned wallpapers, wall art and lighting, offset by a largely neutral wall palette and oak herringbone floors. Keep a look out for scallop shaped detailing (incorporated into splash backs and lampshades) which the designer is famous for. We love the kitchen which offers up many surprises - from the antique brass handles reclaimed from an old ship to the walk in-pantry, fold away bar stools and the luxurious banquette built in to the bay window, providing the ideal place to enjoy a relaxed morning coffee or leisurely breakfast.
