We are Canadians who have lived in London for 15 years. Our children are now 15,12 and 6 and we love to travel back to Canada, to sunny places and occasionally to ski resorts in France or Switzerland. We also love the English countryside and seaside.

Second time staying in this beautiful home and it remains our favorite home away from home! So comfortable and the neighborhood cannot be beat. Highly recommended. x

We absolutely loved our two week stay here in July. We were a group of seven: three adults and 4 children ages 7 and under. Plenty of room for us to have our own space. The house is more beautiful and unique in person than even the pictures show. My children loved playing in the back garden which is gorgeous and lots of toys and craft supplies. So many books and beautiful art- it’s a dream home! Kelley was delightful, extremely helpful even with details of our trip elsewhere around London. Queens park around the corner was amazing to walk to daily with all our children, and the housekeeper was also more than lovely. The home enhanced our overall trip immensely and exceeded our expectations. Perfect home for a large (or small!) family!!

My family of 5 stayed at the Chevening Residence for two weeks over the summer and couldn't have been more pleased. It was our dream house in London!! We loved the calm, bright and stylish interiors, and found it extremely comfortable for our family to be both close and with space to stretch out. My 8.5 year old son and husband could usually be found downstairs in the family room "aka" telly area where the playstation lived, and my 5 year old daughter loved all the dolls and art supplies. The owners are avid readers and we were surrounded by fantastic books and art. Coupled with the treehouse in the garden and the expansive garden, we didn't really want to leave. Queen's Park was a fantastic resource for kids-with two playgrounds for both babies and big kids, and a cute little cafe with children's programming. It's about a 20 minute direct tube ride straight into Oxford Circus should you need to go into Central London, and Queen's Park and Kensal Green were filled with all the little shops and restaurants and farmer's markets one could need. We hope to be back next summer! Full 10 out of 10.
