Why Kids Love it

The house is really well set up for children, with bags of personality and plenty of things to play with. There is a huge trampoline in the garden, ideal for summer; in the winter cosying up for a family movie with hot chocolate in front of a real roaring file after a long walk in Kew Gardens or Hampstead Heath is great fun. The huge living area has plenty of room for wheeled toys and learning to skateboard. All the kids bedrooms have a toilet nearby. If it's raining, there are plenty of books, family board games and a Playstation. The amazing Queen's Park Farmers Market is held every Sunday morning from 10am-2pm at Salisbury primary school and is fun to visit. Both Kensal Rise and Queen’s Park both have high streets where you will find lovely child-friendly shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs.

We are a colourful family of 5 with passions including eating, travelling, music and the arts. We love the desert, the jungle and the mountains and love getting stuck into the 'real' world. We joined Kid and Coe as a great way to meet like minded families.

Queen's Park & Kensal Rise, London

Classy streets and independent shops

Set beside a 12-hectare park of the same name, Queens Park in northwest London is known for its lovely high street, leafy streets and independent shops, just like its neighbor, Kensal Rise, which is linked by family-friendly residential streets. The journey into the city is easy - just 20 minutes by Tube - but you'll find lively eateries, cozy pubs and community events on your doorstep.

Sophie's home was such a dream! Eight people (4 separate families) stayed with ample privacy and it was so nice to have the garden and kitchen as a space to gather. Every detail in this home in thoughtful and beautiful, but not fussy so it feels easy to make yourself at home. The neighborhood is adorable and so convenient — public transportation, groceries, great coffee and restaurants, and a gorgeous park are just down the street.

Wrentham Avenue is incredible! We stayed there for a week and a half with our three girls (11, 9, 6) and had a blast. The house has every ammenity you could ever want to keep your kids busy. The location is fabulous for both its proximity to great places to eat and loads of kid friendly activities but also for how easy it is to get to all of the wonderful things to see in London - great tube/overground/bus access just steps away. Our hosts left us with a wealth of informtaion and were more than willing to answer any questions that popped up. We also had a lovely local contact to help with anything that cropped up during our stay. Last, but certainly not least, we absolutely adored the incredible decor of the house. The vibrant colors and ecclectic collection of artwork around the house felt like we were living in a private museum. We are so grateful that we were able to spend our time in London at the Wrentham Avenue Residence, we (both parents and kids) will be singing its praises for years to come. The only downside is that it set the bar so high for the kiddos that it will be hard for us to top it in our future travels!
