Quogue, The Hamptons

Quiet beaches and a stellar nature reserve

This lovely beach town with a nature reserve on the doorstep has been described as the most ‘unhampton’ town in the area, largely for its easy-going style and lack of glitzy hang out spots. Shop in the few local boutiques or at the local market, play at the quiet, family-friendly beach, and wander six miles of trails at the Quogue Wildlife Reserve, where you’ll also find rescued animals and weekly yoga classes.

Our stay at Clarisse's Hamptons house was so enjoyable. We were traveling with a baby and a toddler and they had EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine in their beautiful home. The space was comfortable and clean and set up to make it so easy with children. Having the safety of an enclosed pool and deck brought peace of mind, as well. I would highly recommend this home for a family-friendly stay in Quogue. Would love to return!

We had a great stay in Quogue. The house was perfect for two families with two toddlers. It was comfortable, clean, baby proofed and the kids loved the toys and books. The house is well located and close to the beach, farmers market, grocery stores, and restaurants. We also enjoyed the backyard.

My family had a wonderful stay in this lovely, well maintained home over a long weekend with our 22 month old. Everything was exactly as described and pictured (or better - the pictures don't do the backyard justice). The house was very thoughtfully set up with great toys and books (for kids and adults) throughout. We brought a couple of our toddler's favorite toys from home but they remained untouched the entire weekend. We also brought with us some other toddler essentials, like a booster seat, plates and cutlery - but that proved unnecessary as this house is outfitted with all toddler accoutrements. Our little guy had a blast running around their backyard, making good use of the swing set, pool and water hose. The pool's secure fencing and fending all around the backyard gave us peace of mind. The adults had fun too - lounging on the deck and around the pool, or in the house, there were plenty of places to relax and hang out without feeling crowded. The host was very responsive, kind and helpful, and all of the house instructions/neighborhood recommendations were spot on. Overall a very relaxing and comfortable stay for kids and adults alike. We look forward to coming back!
