In the South Ravenna neighborhood, near the university district and around 10 minutes north of downtown. The area is popular with urban families; the house is under 10 minutes' walk to Green Lake Park, 5 minutes' walk to Whole Foods and 2 minutes' walk to arguably the best Indian restaurant in Seattle. It is a highly walkable area - car rental may not be necessary, but if it is, Enterprise car rentals is a block away. There is excellent access to buses. We are a young family of four who enjoy making things. Sometimes we make baked goods for friends (or the local firefighters) and sometimes we like making a mess. Sometimes we make tracks, as in we like to take long walks in our neighborhood and beyond. We joined Kid & Coe at the recommendation of a friend who has seen our home and has used these services in the past. We are excited to share our home with like-minded travelers and families.

We had a perfect stay and would highly recommend this residence to anyone with a young family. We enjoyed every aspect of the house from the cozy breakfast nook, the charming fenced-in front yard and the relaxing back yard with grill! And our toddler was thrilled with all the toy choices. The walkability or the neighborhood was great too with a farmers market, coffee shops, restaurants and playground all nearby!

Ravenna, Seattle

The uptown family zone

Popular with urban families, this neighborhood borders the University District to the north of downtown Seattle and is known for being quiet and friendly, near the city’s buzz but not so close that you will be kept up all night. The U-Village shopping mall is a family shopping treat and Ravenna Park, with 50 acres of woodland and trails, is a good place to play frisbee.
