This stunning 3-bedroom garden apartment in the upscale and green Rivierenbuurt would be ideal for a family with young children. It sleeps 4 + 2. This luxurious residence has a beautiful open concept space perfect for dinner and drinks with its own bar. The primary bedroom has doors that open to the outside. The garden has room for evening dinners and family BBQs in summer. There are 2 bathrooms (1 with a tub for bath time) and space for parents to have a relaxed time. If you bring a nanny, Bedroom 2 has its own ensuite bathroom.

Why Kids Love it

Toys are plentiful here and there’s a play area in the garden. The kids’ bedrooms are bright with colorful rugs. There are 2 Stokke Tripp Trapp chairs at the dining room table. There is plenty of space in the neighborhood to play, including the Merwedeplein green square, which is just around the corner. For days out, the NEMO science museum, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Kindermuseum are all easily accessible. For babies and toddlers, there’s a crib, baby seat and baby bouncer available on request.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 4 nights. There are no stairs. Public transport in Amsterdam is plentiful and it’s easy to get around, but paid parking is available on the street if necessary. The bunk bed can be converted into 2 separate single / twin beds if required. A travel crib is available for an additional baby / toddler. Weekly housekeeping is included in your stay.

About the Location

You’ll be in the neighborhood of Rivierenbuurt in the borough of Amsterdam Zuid. It’s a family-friendly, safe and green area with 1920s and 1930s Amsterdam School architecture. Anne Frank lived here before she went into hiding. Now it’s a stylish neighborhood with global restaurants, cafes, parks and playgrounds. The nearest shopping street is in Maasstraat, a 5-minute walk away. The Bohemian De Pijp and RAI Conference Center are close by. A tram and metro connection are around the corner that will take you to the city center in 10 minutes.

Accommodation Details

This apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all on 1 floor. The living room with sofas and TV is open plan to the kitchen, with a kitchen island seating 4 and a dining table. The primary bedroom is kingsize and has a dedicated workspace. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed (also available as 2 twin / single beds) with an ensuite bathroom and bedroom 3 has a wooden crib. The garden is accessible via open doors from the main living space and the primary bedroom. It has an outdoor dining area under a pergola and outdoor lounge furniture, small play area and BBQ.

Style Notes

Hotel-style city chic. This apartment has high-end finishes and furniture that give the feel of a top hotel. Warm wooden floors, neutral furnishings and sumptuous fabrics provide a tranquil and comfortable feel, with little luxuries such as underfloor heating and a Quooker tap in the kitchen. Large windows let in plenty of natural light. We love the squeaky clean, bright and open spaces, the luxurious kitchen that’s perfect for entertaining, and the lovely garden for playing and relaxing after a day exploring the city.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
