This charming 5-bedroom designer’s home in Sag Harbor has a salt-water heated pool and is only 1 block from Long Beach. It sleeps up to 15 + 1. Guests are welcomed with fresh flowers and gourmet coffee to this lovely Hamptons’ house where the Brooklinen sheets and Le Labo products in bathrooms will pamper and delight. Grab lunch at the local farmers market, splash in the Bay with paddleboards (provided on request), or toast s’mores over the outdoor fire pit. This residence has all the ingredients for family fun.

Why Kids Love it

The house is well set up for younger kids with a crib in 1 of the bedrooms and 3 pack ‘n’ plays to use. There are tons of toys in the house to enjoy along with paddle boards and bicycles to borrow. Sag Harbor has plenty of child-friendly activities in town such as puppet shows at the Bay Street Theater and children’s movies. There’s even a website called www.sagharborkids.org that lists weekly activities and seasonal happenings to keep the kids entertained. Water-based fun is big here with lessons in water skiing and sailing available on the docks. There are TVs and cable boxes in every bedroom for moments when everyone needs some down time.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 14 nights. No smoking, parties, or events. Check-in is any time after 4pm via a key-pad and check out by 11am. Pets are allowed. Gates for the stairs and a pool fence can be installed on request. For any guests under 5 staying, the owners prefer to have pool fences up. The hosts provide Brooklinen sheets and pillows and all the bathrooms have Malin & Goetz products. The neighborhood is extremely safe and quiet. There is parking on the driveway for up to 4 cars and additional parking on the street in front of the house. The host is available answer any questions at any time about all the special places The Hamptons has to offer.

About the Location

The house is located in Sag Harbor, and an 8-minute drive from downtown and only a block away from Long Beach. Grab lunch at the local farmers market just down the road. Sag Harbor has one of the best and most vibrant villages in the Hamptons with copious shopping and dining options. Once a thriving port, it is now known for its meandering tree-lined streets, 18th and 19th century architecture and a casually sophisticated way of life. It is also a short drive from Bridgehampton, Shelter Island, Southampton, and Montauk. It is around 2.5 hours’ drive from New York City or catch the Hampton Jitney, which stops in the village.

Accommodation Details

The Hamptons’ home has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 first floor, 1 second floor) in over 2,800-square feet of living space. There is also a living space with a fireplace and dining table and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. There are 3 kingsize bedrooms and 2 queensize ones with an additional 3 toddler beds, 2 single air beds and a crib. The large back yard includes a heated saltwater pool, wooden dining table, day beds, loungers and a fire pit with seating.

Style Notes

Beach chic. This bright, airy and sophisticated residence has soaring ceilings and charming original features. The outdoor dining table strewn with fairy lights is the perfect setting for al fresco family meals in the summer time, while cozying up next to the open fire in the winter is equally as pleasant. We love the romantic, claw-foot tub in the first-floor bathroom, the high-end linens and cloud-like Wright mattresses, as well as the fantastic proximity to the beach. Surf, sea and sand are but a hop, skip and jump away.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
