In contrast to the traditional farmhouses of this region, the villa is spectacularly modern and comes with a whole host of comforts, including air conditioning, a huge primary suite for parents and a minimalist kitchen. There’s enough space for those traveling with a nanny or grandparents, and the multi-floor layout means that everyone will have their own space to relax.

Why Kids Love it

The outdoor space is vast - ideal for kids to run around and play - and they’ll love the luxurious heated pool! Kids of all ages can practice their tennis skills on the court, too. Saint-Rémy is a great village for families, with kid-friendly eateries, a small playground and an ice cream parlor. Further afield, it’s 15 minutes’ drive to L’Arche de Meo animal park. Parents with babies or toddlers can hire a high chair, crib or bed linen on request.

Minimum stay: 7 nights. Bookings in July and August run from Saturday to Saturday. City tax is not included and to be paid on arrival: 5.76€pppn. Safety notes: the 14 x 7m heated pool is secured by a rolling shutter. There are external staircases so children should be supervised at all times outdoors. The house has air conditioning throughout. Parking is available for 4 cars - car rental is recommended to explore the area. The property is managed by an agency in France who act as a concierge during your stay: they can advise places to go, local restaurants to try, shopping deliveries, at-home treatments, arrange housekeeping, babysitting, chef services, excursions or equipment rental. Sorry - no pets.

About the Location

This residence is located in Saint-Rémy, one of the most desirable villages in Provence. The village (10-15 minutes’ walk) offers traditional bakeries, restaurants and an art gallery. There’s also some historic sites to explore, including the archaeological site of Glanum and the Cloister of St Paul de Mausole. This region has plenty of routes for hiking, climbing, canoeing, cycling and horse riding, so it’s great for families who love the outdoors. Visit the postcard-perfect sights of Luberon (1 hour), Avignon (half an hour) or Aix-en-Provence (1 hour). The nearest train station is in Avignon and the closest international airport is Marseilles (around 1 hour away by car).

Accommodation Details

The villa has 7 ensuite bedrooms, set over 3 floors. Downstairs on the ground floor there are 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, a dining room and a garage. This floor is also home to 4 bedrooms: 2 super kingsize rooms and 2 double twin rooms. Upstairs on the first floor you’ll find the primary suite, which has a super kingsize bed, office area, lounge area, private terrace, dressing room and ensuite bathroom with tub. On the top floor, there are 2 ensuite super kingsize bedrooms. Outside, there is a summer kitchen, a back kitchen, a lounging area overlooking the pool and the tennis court.

Contemporary luxe. This modern villa is unique for the historical region, with a striking architectural style, clean lines and minimalist interiors. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors allow light to flood in from all aspects, accentuating the feeling of space. Industrial-inspired details (such as polished concrete steps and the fully-integrated kitchen) add to the feeling of modernity. We love the contrasting wooden kitchen island, that amazing wine store and those invisible glass balconies making way for the spectacular views.

30% deposit to be paid on booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation before 90 days will be invoiced for the amount of the deposit paid. Between 30 and 90 days from the start of the rental, this will result in the invoicing 50% of the total amount of the period concerned. Except in cases of force majeure recognized by law, a cancellation reported within less than 30 days will be charged 50% + 1.67% per day elapsed from the 30th day to the date of cancellation.
