Style Notes

Victorian apartment. This quintessential San Francisco flat features all the classic period details that are typical of this city’s Victorian houses. It has large windows and high ceilings, with contemporary accents to give a modern twist, such as the colorful art on the walls, mostly from local talent. The hosts have recently renovated the kitchen to create a sleek, smart space, with beautiful quartz counter tops and brown and white tones for a Scandinavian touch. We love the period decor features in the hallway, the sleek dark marbled dining table top, and the beautiful period fireplace.

We have a 5 year old girl, live in San Francisco and love to travel.

Nob Hill, San Francisco

Cable cars and street corner coffee shops

On one of San Francisco’s 44 hills, this neighborhood was historically one of its most elite. It’s got a real charm to it and is well located for exploring the city at large. Hit the Cable Car museum, play in the fountains and playgrounds of Huntington Park, or head to Café Bean for Dutch pancakes for brunch.

We had a *fantastic* stay at Rimma's apartment. The location is superb, the place is spacious, beautiful, and perfect for kids, and Rimma could not have been friendlier. We highly recommend this property to any family (of 3-4 people) visiting SF. Staying in Rimma's place was the highlight of our trip. We very much hope to have the pleasure of staying there again someday.

We absolutely loved our stay. Rimma’s home is serene, inviting and beautifully curated with thoughtful layers of modern art, a few simple antiques and handmade earthenware. We stayed with our two toddlers and it was truly a pleasure. Rimma herself is a wonderfully gracious and responsive host and I could not have been happier with our stay. Thanks again!
