Style Notes

Rustic Tuscany. With deep reds, terracotta tiles and classic countryside views, this property offers the chance to experience Tuscany as it should be done. Set on a winery with ultra-locally produced wines and olive oils to try, and pretty medieval villages to explore nearby, it’s the quintessential Tuscany location. Wood beamed ceilings, stone steps and open fireplaces add to the appeal. We love the location, the attention to detail and the efforts made to keep children and adults happy on vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at the Al Gelso Bianco. The views are beautiful and the highlight of our trip was the dinner we had one night in an amazing setting, with delicious food. This really will be one of our favourite holiday memories. Irene is a wonderfully friendly host and we really liked the swimming pool.

My large extended family stayed here for 1 week and loved it. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchens are great for cooking meals together. Most of all the setting is idyllic and the staff amazing. Highly recommended.

Our family had an incredible week at Al Gelso Bianco! The location was amazing, with so many towns to explore and delicious restaurants nearby, and the apartment was clean and well-maintained. Above all, the staff were amazing and went out of their way to help us throughout our stay. Our kids especially loved the pool with its shallow end, the interactive cooking class, and meeting new friends from different places. Our visit well exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely return!

This was a perfect spot for our family vacation to Tuscany. It's ideally situated in the countryside, just a short drive (30/40 minutes) from Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano. The apartments are clean, comfortable and well-stocked for basic cooking. The knowledgeable staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and included the kids in everything. The pasta cooking class (and wine-tasting & meal) was one of the highlights of our whole trip. The pool has a nice separate shallow end for little ones, and was welcome for cooling down on hot summer days. We also loved being at such a family-friendly spot, where both we and our kids made good friends over the week-long stay.
