Style Notes

Monterey Spanish Colonial Style. Rich in history, famed architects Edwards & Plunkett designed this rare 1929 Monterey Spanish Colonial Revival Estate. Romantic balconies overlook the grounds with a view of the gorgeous Santa Ynez Mountains. Beautiful finishes and many period details including exposed beams, stucco ceilings, and dark floors round out the hacienda character of the home. The newly remodeled chef's kitchen features granite counters and high-end appliances. We love the Spanish tilework, arched doorways and beautiful California landscaping.

Santa Barbara, California

Wine country, palm-fringed beaches and family fun

On the central Californian coast, Santa Barbara brings together wine country, sandy beaches and family attractions to create a fantastic family vacation destination. From the palm-fringed beaches to the shark-touching tank at the Museum of Natural History Sea Center, the beach cafés and lush parks, not to mention the small but perfectly formed zoo, Santa Barbara caters for families exceptionally well. Active kids will love sea kayaking, hiking trails in state parks and bike rides along Cabrillo Boulevard. It’s what beach cruisers were made for.
