We love the glass-enclosed dining room that makes you feel like you are dining in a garden, the Koa wood and stone floors, and the elegant and tranquil garden.

Santa Monica, Los Angeles

Sun, Fun and Ice Cream

With three and a half miles of beach, Santa Monica is full of classic California scenery. Grab ice creams, crash bumper cars, and take a ride on the 9-story Ferris Wheel on Santa Monica pier, a kid’s dream destination. Afterward, test your strength on the climbing ropes and rings on the adjacent beach. Then cool off inside - kids under 12 get in free at the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Whatever kind of fun in the sun you seek, it’s here in Santa Monica.

The Rustic Canyon residence was perfect in every way. Beautiful home, impeccably and stylistically decorated, incredibly comfortable for our small extended family (3 of us + mother- and sister-in-law). Great location near the end of a safe, quiet, and friendly street - walking distance to the beach and surrounded by trees and trails. Lots of neighbors walking dogs. Local coffee shop is great. Kids loved the trampoline and my 5-year-old daughter spent hours playing with the dollhouse and dolls. Simon was gracious and communicative host. Fantastic stay.

We had a great stay at the Rustic Canyon residence. Beautiful and architecturally impressive home with really cool decor and furnishings. The house gave our family of four plenty of space and our children loved all of the books, toys, games, puzzles, and Lego bricks. Great location that is walkable to the beach and a few great restaurants that are about 1/2 mile away. Simon was very responsive before and during our stay, checking in to see if we needed anything. I really appreciate them letting us stay at their home and we hope to return in the future.
