This beautiful one-story apartment just outside the city center is well set up for a family stay with a full kitchen and family-sized dining area. Along with a stylish and spacious master bedroom, the apartment has a family bathroom with shower and bath for the kids. There is WiFi throughout.

Why Kids Love it

There are plenty of toys and books in the apartment for kids under 4. The apartment is a great family space with a living room large enough for wheeled toys. Local playgrounds are a short walk away; the kids room is bright and colorful. A crib, high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can be provided on request. Kids will love visiting nearby Parc Josaphat and Square Ambiorix.

Things to Know

Note that the minimum stay is 4 days. The residence is on the second floor with no elevator. The flat is safe for children with a pleasant terrace where you can eat or simply sip a glass of wine. No pets, no smoking.

About the Location

The airport is maximum 30 minutes away. The area is calm, yet centrally located and close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Brussels is also conveniently central with lovely spot Bruges (55 minutes away), the international fashion city of Antwerp (40 minutes) Paris (1 hour 20 minutes) and London (1 hour 51 minutes).

Accommodation Details

Three bedroomed one-floor apartment with a large open-plan lounge-diner and an open kitchen, plus access to a wooden terrace. There is a master bedroom, a single bedroom and a children’s bedroom suitable for a baby or toddler. There is parquet floor everywhere. The apartment is in a courtyard and therefore very quiet.

Style Notes

Bright, light, modern, original, quiet and cosy. The apartment has playful primary color accents in the kids rooms, a design wall in the living room and mixes wood and concrete for a zen feeling. We love the lipstick bright bar stools in the kitchen and the Orla Kiely wallpaper.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Art and architecture

Just to the northeast of the center of the city, Schaerbeek is close to the financial district and is much admired for its Art Deco and Art Nouveau architecture. Play amid the open air sculptures in Josaphat Park, paint canvases in an artist’s studio or jump on a tram to reach Brussels’ Grand Place in 20 minutes.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful appartment. It was fantastic for the kids with plenty of space for them to play. The host was so kind to leave some toys and plastic cutlery out for us. they were helpful with a detailed list of nearest places and sights to enjoy. We will definitely be back!
