Shepherd’s Bush has a vibrant, bustling center with street markets, modern restaurants and live music venues and it’s close to popular tourist spots including Holland Park, Notting Hill, Westfield and Kensington.

Why Kids Love it

An easy Astro-turf lawn means kids can play out in all weathers without getting muddy and there’s even a trampoline to jump off some energy. It’s just 5 minutes’ walk to Hammersmith Park which has a playground, Japanese water gardens and a tennis court or 10 minutes’ walk to White City adventure playground. Westfield shopping center has some great activities for kids, including Kidzania role play indoor activity center to cinemas for older kids and teens.

Things to Know

No parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. There is 1 upstairs room that will not be available to guests (not pictured). There are several sets of stairs in this home, so those with toddlers should be aware. For guests with allergies, please note that a dog usually lives here. If you have a dog which you would like to stay with you, please check with the host team before booking.

About the Location

The house is located in Shepherd’s Bush, west London. It’s just 4 minutes’ walk to Shepherd’s Bush Market underground station and the main high street, or 13 minutes’ walk to Shepherd’s Bush overground rail station. The convenient shops and casual eateries of Westfield are close by (under 10 minutes on foot) and it’s a quick journey by subway to visit Notting Hill’s famous Portobello Road Market (10 minutes away) or Hyde Park (20 minutes). Heathrow airport is 45 minutes by car or train.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. Downstairs, there’s an open plan living/dining room that’s perfectly set-up for a family stay: enjoy dinners around the glass dining table before relaxing in the window seat post-meal. A handy desk also offers a workspace should you need it during your visit. The adjacent kitchen offers ample space to cook, leading out to the Astro-turfed lawn. Upstairs, there are 2 relaxing double bedrooms, 1 of which has an ensuite bathroom, complete with a bathtub. The other 2 bathrooms both have walk-in showers. The third bedroom on the top floor has 2 twin beds, ideal for children.

Style Notes

Eclectic and eccentric. This quirky home is filled with unique artefacts and captivating artworks to create a truly unusual space. Thee open-plan living and dining area could rival a London gallery wall, thanks to a variety of framed pictures and colorful ceramics, while period features shine through, such as the wooden floors and cozy bay window. We love the glass coffee table adorned with a fabulous selection of books, the elegant cushion-filled sofa and the playful kids room decor.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival.
