About the Location

The Contrada Scopello Residence is located within the Zingaro Nature Reserve, a protected coastal area in north-west Sicily known for its beautiful scenery. Local airports are Palermo (40 minutes) or Trapani (50 minutes). Local beaches with crystal clear waters are within 10 minutes’ drive away – the most famous is Scopello Faraglioni. Scopello is a picturesque hamlet, still an important tuna fishing station, also home to an 18th century ‘baglio’ – ancient farm buildings built around a gated courtyard – and a church. The nearby town of Castellammare del Golfo has a seafront castle, boutiques, restaurants serving up the ‘catch of the day’ and numerous sandy beaches.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and is on 1 story. The open concept living space has a warm terracotta-toned kitchen with a dining table seating up to 14 with doors to the garden. One of the bedrooms has a separate entrance. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. Style Notes

Dreamy Sicilian. The hazy blue views of mountains, olive trees and the Mediterranean Sea from this residence are truly stunning. Local materials such as stone, wood and ceramic give the classic touch of an authentic Sicilian villa. The bedrooms are individually decorated, some with lively floor tiles and neutral backgrounds adorned with color. Contemporary paintings by local artists abound. We love the lounge areas outside with plenty of comfortable places to spread out and relax as a large group, the al fresco dining options and the privacy.

I love my job and I pour my passion into taking care of details and welcoming my guests. I manage apartments in the historic center of Trapani, along the promontory overlooking the expanse of beach of Castellammare del Golfo and Palermo together with splendid villas with swimming pool in the famous town of Scopello, a few steps from the pristine and wild Zingaro Nature Reserve Located in important places of tourist interest, my apartments are the transposition of my dynamic being. I am a lover of the sea and the practicality of life. For this reason all the The rooms of my holiday homes are bright, tastefully furnished in marine tones without ever giving up comfort; Crossing the threshold of my home it will be like being overwhelmed by the foam of the sea and every detail is a reference to my personality.

Sicily, Italy

Kicked into the sea

Long legged Italy, so goes the rhyme, kicked this beautiful island into the Mediterranean beside it, and it’s a great place for a family vacation. You could spend days on the beaches or exploring ancient ruins, but there’s more to do than that - scale Mount Etna by cable car, then play at the adventure playground at its base, visit castles and catacombs, eat gelato in pretty squares and enjoy puppet theater productions in true Sicilian style.
