Named “Best Residence” by Interiors Magazine, this loft in Flux House, one of the original eleven artist co-operative buildings in SoHo, sleeps 4 and includes modern art, a great kids room and plenty of space to play. Steps from the city’s most lauded restaurants, it is a unique loft apartment with open living spaces, Mid Century furniture and hardwood floors. The living room has a TV equipped with Apple TV and Netflix memberships are provided. There is a sound system and you can play music via a WiFi network. An easy base in the heart of the city, it is also close to public transit and playgrounds.
Why Kids Love it
The spacious living room is a great place to play. A high chair can be provided on request. Walk to Vesuvio Playground, where kids can burn off some energy or cool off in the swimming pool with spray showers on a summer afternoon, or hop on the subway and explore the city’s many family-friendly attractions.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 30 days. The residence is a 3rd floor walk up; there is a freight elevator. No pets permitted. The nightly host rate is based on 4 guests. There is a $50 surcharge for more than 4 staying at the apartment. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers available in the basement. Note that there are some breakable items within reach of children.
About the Location
The residence is in the heart of SoHo, with easy access to the subway. It is 2 blocks from Gourmet Garage and Sunrise Mart for convenient grocery shopping and approximately 20 minutes to LaGuardia Airport and 30 minutes to JFK Airport by car, taxi, or shuttle. The subway is 1 block away on Canal Street (J/N/Q/R/Z/6/A/C/E/1 trains). Car hire is not recommended; there is limited parking nearby. Street parking is available after 6pm until 8pm. A parking lot is located across the street and an indoor parking garage on the next block over.

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment is on 1 floor and includes a main living space with Smart TV and games console and fully equipped modern kitchen. The primary bedroom has a queensize bed and books, and the children's bedroom has a double bed. There is also a studio/study and a dining room. An additional queen airbed is provided upon request for the studio/study.
