A beautiful serene home close to Southampton village and Sag Harbor in The Hamptons, with a private heated pool and water slide. It sleeps 8. This peaceful house was fully renovated recently to complement its location within, and surrounded by, nature. Set in a private and quiet location, it’s still close enough to the most desirable vacation spots to experience all The Hamptons has to offer. It’s fully set up for families, with entertainment for kids of all ages and an independent bedroom with its own separate entrance that’s perfect for teens or parents traveling with a nanny. Grown-ups will love the gorgeous open plan living space that makes family meals a breeze, as well as the contemporary outdoor/indoor feel of the lower floor which makes the most of the stunning backyard and outdoor dining space.

Why Kids Love it

This house is packed full of fun family-friendly features! There’s plenty to tire out sporty kids - including a professional ping pong table, bikes for kids 8 and up to borrow and a kids soccer field - as well as lots of aqua fun for water babies - they’ll love the water slide and heated swimming pool. For lazy days, kids can doze out on the garden hammock or play with the hosts’ board games. The sandy beaches in The Hamptons are very child-friendly and there are countless options for water-sports in the surrounding beach towns for older kids and teens looking for adventure. The house has its own kayak and is close to some of the best spots to explore. The outdoor bathroom is perfect after coming back from the sandy beaches, or for teens who want their own space. For a break from the beach hit up the mini-golf course in town for putting and snack or pack in some culture at the famed Parrish Art Museum.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 6 nights. Safety notes: the pool can be accessed directly from the house (although there are pool alarms installed). For groups of more than 5 people there is a charge of $100/day per person. There is a charge of $400 dollars/week for pool and Jacuzzi heating during the summer season. Little kids should be supervised on the water slide. The house has central air conditioning and an alarm system as well as a brand new patio and fire pit area with Sonos speakers for evening hang outs. It has 2 smart locks - families with babies (0-2) may wish to inform the hosts in advance so that the house can be prepared accordingly. There’s plenty of parking available and car rental is strongly recommended. The residence also comes with children’s utensils, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, a new Weber grill, TV and high speed WiFi. Beach passes are available for stays of a month or more.

About the Location

The house is located in Southampton, New York. The Hamptons is the perfect place for families to visit during both summer and winter. For summer vacations, there are miles of amazing beaches nearby: Cooper's beach in Southampton has been voted 3rd best beach in the country and Flying Point Beach is a 15 minutes’ drive. Area highlights also include spots for beautiful sunsets, outdoor swimming in the bay or oceans, mini golf courses, farm stands, wine tasting, a world class art museum at Parrish, and hiking trails. Downtown Southampton has great parks and eateries, while Sag Harbor has a picturesque harbor and water sports centers (both 15 minutes’ drive). In winter you’ll find first-class shopping and restaurants all across The Hamptons. Southampton has a train station and Jitney stop for access to New York City; New York airports are around 2.5 hours away.

Accommodation Details

The residence has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. The full private primary suite is on its own separate floor (with a kingsize bed, soaking tub and shower) along with a home office with sofabed. A second suite, with ensuite bathroom with shower, is on the 2nd level of the house along with a 3rd bedroom with queensize bed. A 4th queensize bedroom is on a lower level with its own separate entrance and a guest area with sofabed with a very large TV (Xbox ready). Downstairs on the lower floor, there is a large open plan living space which includes a dining area, full kitchen and cozy lounge with a fireplace. Outdoors there is a large backyard as well as a beautiful mahogany deck with a dining area, fire pit, the heated pool and spa with a waterfall connecting the two, plus a water slide. There is an outdoor shower and bathroom, as well.

Style Notes

Designer modernity. The house was designed with the concept of ‘design by nature’ - inspired by the greenery surrounding the house as well as its proximity to water. It’s bright and light, with 6 skylights and wall-to-wall windows in the living space to ensure daylight even on the cloudiest of days. All the rooms in this house were designed by a professional designer and all the furniture is brand new, decorated in neutral, calming tones. We love the exterior wood texture referencing the tree-filled landscape, the bold stone-walled fireplace and the mid-century style brass finishes adding a luxe touch.

Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
