Why Kids Love it

The kids bedroom has twin beds covered with patchwork quilts and the lounge has plenty to offer kids come rain or shine, with shelves stacked high with books, games and toys along with a TV. Great for kindergarten-aged children, toys and books are provided along with bikes and a high chair. A crib can be rented through a rental partner or brought with.

Minimum stay: 7 nights. Note there are no stair gates at this property and limited items for babies and toddlers. Car hire recommended for this location but not essential. Car parking is off street for 2 cars at the back of the house. The host can leave a car and all permits necessary on request - please ask on booking. Small pets welcome by arrangement with the host in advance only.

About the Location

The residence is in Southampton Village, with a playground and bakery walking distance away. It is 20 minutes on foot to the closest beach; 10 minutes by bike. Nearby beaches may need a beach permit (consult the host for details). It is 2 hours east of New York City by car; also accessible by train and taxi. The Long Island Railroad is under a mile away and is an easy walk away.

This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is set over 2 floors and is surrounded by a lawned and landscaped garden with outdoor eating area under a pergola. The main living space includes an open plan kitchen and dining area with dining table for up to 8 and a kids table. The kitchen has a large range and plenty of space for preparing meals. There is also a playroom/ lounge with TV. Bedrooms comprise a master with kingsize bed, second bedroom with queensize bed and kids bedroom with 2 twin beds. Bathrooms include showers and tubs.

Country chic. This beautiful Hamptons home is great for all the family with welcoming family spaces and colorful touches. The kitchen is the heart of the home and includes a large range, aluminium sink and dishwasher; a large wooden table is the ideal spot to eat together. Kids will love the playroom with its boxes of toys and games, and the twin bedroom with its cozy patchwork quilts. We love the rustic yet chic master bedroom with sloped ceilings and polished pine floors, and the lawned garden with space to play ball games and loungers where you can enjoy the sun.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

This chi-chi village is at the heart of the Hamptons and is considered one of its most prestigious communities. Oceanfront mansions, distinguished visitors and wide tree-lined avenues make it a very desirable place indeed. Pack a picnic and head to the beach - Southampton’s are some of the best in the States. It has all the ingredients of a very special family trip.
