Families will love hanging out in the backyard, with the generously-sized hot tub and Adirondack chair-ringed firepit, where you can relax after a busy day of golfing, exploring the city or swimming at the beach. The house is well-equipped for 2 families traveling together too, with the large great room combining a kitchen, dining room and living room, so everyone can relax in their own space.

Why Kids Love it

Kids of all ages will love the garage game room, equipped with a full-size ping pong table and spectator area, as well as 2 arcade games. The beach is a short walk away and there is also a park and playground at nearby North Beach Park (15 minutes’ walk). This home comes with a pack 'n play, high chair, step stool, books, toys, children’s dinnerware and more - all included, free of charge. It's perfectly set up for kids, with no breakables around, step stools in the bathrooms, plus children’s books and board games for extra family entertainment.

Things to Know

The house is set up with towels, toiletries, laundry facilities and cleaning supplies. A local host is available to assist you during your stay and on arrival. Ask the host for advice on booking a private chef, massage therapist, concierge services, grocery deliveries, custom itineraries, local recommendations and more. You're welcome to bring up to 2 dogs for an additional fee of $125. The lead guest must be 21 years of age. When you book this property, you’ll be asked to sign a separate guest agreement. Jacksonville (for the international airport) is around 1 hour away by car. Car rental is recommended.

About the Location

The property is located in one of the most desirable beach areas in historic St Augustine, in Florida. Uniquely situated on a coastal peninsula near Vilano Beach, the beach is just a few blocks to the east, with a saltwater river to the immediate west - each side of this peninsula has a restaurant (less than 10 minutes away on foot). This area is known for its maritime history: Ponce de Leon is said to have landed mere minutes from here in his search for the fabled fountain of youth. Historic St Augustine downtown is 15 minutes’ drive by car.

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The open plan living space is on the main level, together with the garage games room and a kingsize bedroom (with an ensuite bathroom). Upstairs, you’ll find the other 3 bedrooms (2 queensize and 1 bunk room) and the shared family bathroom. Outside, the raised deck features a grill and firepit, with the grassy garden and hot tub a few steps down.

Style Notes

Color pops. The entryway to the house sets the tone: pastel walls echoing vintage Florida with a fun, creative feel and this playfulness continues with the unique bedrooms. Bright seating (indoors and out) adds pop of color around the property, complementing the coastal-themed artwork and eye-catching wallpaper prints. We love the enveloping turquoise bedroom ceiling, the contemporary black fixtures in the kitchen and the sleek all-white bathrooms.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Outside of 14 days, booking is refundable minus a Kid & Coe fee totalling 10% of the total booking. Inside of 14 days, booking is non-refundable. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 10% of the booking total.
