Perks for the Parents

This picturesque saltwater lagoon-fronted 3-bedroom beach house in the Sebel Twin Waters Resort is near to a surf beach and has access to all of the resort facilities including pools, bars and restaurants. It sleeps up to 8. There are only a handful of these waterfront houses, making them extremely sought after. The open plan layout downstairs makes it ideal for families and there is a kingsize master bedroom ensuite for the parents and 2 further bedrooms for kids or extended family. The real attraction of this property is the location with the beach on your doorstep and the secluded, calm waters of the lagoon for children to play safely. Other resort facilities include a golf course and a gym, BBQ facilities and an entertaining area and bike and walking paths that weave around the swimming lagoon.

Why Kids Love it

This home will entertain kids from young infants to teenagers. It has everything that kids need including high chairs, baby monitor, stair gates, a travel crib and a stroller, toys in the well-stocked playroom and a stunning location for outdoor fun. There are beach toys and buckets and spades for the lagoon beach, which is just on your doorstep. Plus, it’s only a 1-minute stroll to the Sebel and Novotel Twin Waters Resort facilities where there are child-friendly restaurants, 3 outdoor swimming pools including a children’s pool, bikes, pedal boats, catamaran and canoe hire, and a creche for an additional fee. Nearby, the Sunshine Coast Aqua Fun Park is a 6-minute walk or discover Australian wildlife at Australia Zoo (a 40-minute drive) or Sea Life (20 minutes).

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. Guests will have access to facilities at The Sebel Twin Waters Resort and the adjoining Novotel Twin Waters Resort. The property has direct access to the lagoon for swimming, fishing and non-motorized water sports. Young children should be supervised in the front garden as although being frontline to the lagoon and beach is a huge perk, this is also a safety concern for very young children as the garden is not fenced. A stair gate is provided for inside the house. There is a ‘no party’ policy at the resort and quiet time is requested from 10pm. There is a double garage as well as 2 additional parking spaces.

Style Notes

Contemporary beach house. This light and airy residence has been recently purchased and everything is new from the beds to the sofas to the kitchenware and soft furnishings. There’s a holiday feel with the patio doors opening up to the outside for an indoor / outdoor feel, making the most of the Sunshine Coast weather. Staying here, you will have access to resort amenities and the privacy of your own waterfront villa. We love the modern kitchen with the stainless-steel worktop, the fresh décor and the fabulous, family-friendly location.

Hey. I'm Beth and my family and I feel very privileged to call the beautiful Sunshine Coast our home. My husband and our daughter and two sons moved from the UK three years ago to enjoy the weather and outdoor lifestyle that this area offers. Being a kiwi my husband loves being active, participating in local sporting events and running and surfing. I myself love swimming and yoga and have a passion for animals. I would love to welcome you to the stunning Sunshine Coast and the beautiful Twin Waters where the beach house is located. An unforgettable stay awaits you...
