Perks for the Parents

This magical monochrome apartment is a short walk from Tarifa’s beaches and market and sleeps up to 2 adults and 3 children. Well-set up for a family stay, it has a full kitchen and family-sized dining area. Along with a stylish and spacious master bedroom, there is a bedroom with a single bed and a pull out double bed for children or further guests.

Why Kids Love it

It is a short walk from local playgrounds and the principle beaches of the town. Tarifa is a great destination for families, with 38km of fine sands and crystal clear waters, plus watersports, whale watching, boat trips, horse riding and hiking nearby. Kite flying on the beach - known for its wind and kite surfing - is great fun.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 days. The apartment is on the first floor. Pets are not allowed. The hosts are at the disposition of guests either by telephone or email for any queries they may have before and during their stay. Car hire useful but not essential and there is a parking space available from July to September only which included in the cost of the rental. The property is walking distance from the compact town’s main attractions. There are limited provisions for those with very young children. The nearest airport is Gibraltar airport, an hour away by car/taxi.

About the Location

The residence is in the heart of Tarifa’s old town, a short walk from the harbour, beaches and main market square. Nearby you will find restaurants, child-friendly cafés, beaches and parks. Tarifa extends across 4 different protected natural areas: the ‘Los Alcornocales’ Natural Park, ‘El Estrecho’ Natural Park, the ‘Los Lances’ Beach Beauty Spot –an area where many birds congregate awaiting the opportunity to cross the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Natural Monument of the Bolonia Dune.

Accommodation Details

The apartment consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with a single bed, a hallway with a double pull-out bed and a fully equipped bathroom with shower and bath. There is an open plan living space including a fully equipped kitchen and a bright spacious living area. A double airbed can be added on request. There is no outdoor space.

Style Notes

Modern monochrome. This striking apartment is decked out in white and black with carefully chosen furniture and fittings to create a unique modern space. Floors are tiled with a geometric pattern while white cabinets make the kitchen sleek. We love the black polkadots in the children’s room and the driftwood/vintage style clothes rail and the sculptural arch and black velvet throw-over in the master bedroom.

It was a fantastic experience the wonderful house very clean and beautifully decorated. The host always available to help and answer our questions and to suggest the best places in Tarifa. free parking was top as was the midweek house cleaning. Some night movement on the street but all quiet. We will be back

Tarifa, Andalusia

Windswept and wonderful

At the southernmost point of the Europe, Tarifa’s cobbled streets, boho shops and tapas bars attract laid back holidaymakers while its windswept beaches are made for wind and kite surfers. Try horse riding along the beach, taking the hydrofoil to Morocco for the day or bird watching, whale watching and walks in the hills.
