Exploring the wider city couldn’t be easier with the transport hub of Place de la République just 5 minutes’ walk away.

The hosts have bicycles that guests can borrow and there are also canal cruises for a fun way to explore. There are many family-friendly restaurants along the waterway including Le Comptoir Général (4 minutes' away), full of toys and activities for younger ones with an iconic model ship at its center. For foodie loving kids, the Marché Couvert Saint-Martin is a 15-minute walk away with an array of food stalls under cover offering samples of local produce.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 6 nights. Please note that the apartment entrance is on the 3rd floor of a shared building which has an elevator. Inside, there are unprotected stairs in the residence and 2 outdoor terraces which younger kids should be supervised on when in use. There is no TV, but guests have a cinema projector and a Bluetooth amplifier that can be used with a computer. There is WiFi throughout the property. The hosts have bicycles that guests are free to borrow if required. This is a lived-in home so you should expect to find homeowner belongings and personal items.

About the Location

This residence is located in Paris' 10th arrondissement, in the trendy Canal Saint-Martin district known for its boho bars, foodie restaurants, laid back cafes, markets and canal walks. You can take a boat ride on the 19th century waterway or check out the local Marché Couvert Saint-Martin, 1 of only 5 covered markets left in Paris, a 15 minute walk from the residence. It is a 5-minute walk to the Place de la République, a central public transport hub with 5 subway lines and buses that can take you anywhere in Paris. It’s a 15 minute metro ride to Notre-Dame and 25 minutes to the Louvre or Concorde (bottom of the Champs-Elysées). Paris-Charles De Gaulle and Orly international airports are both approximately 45 minutes away by taxi. The Gare du Nord, for Eurostar, is a 15-minute taxi ride away.

Accommodation Details

The residence has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over 2 floors and occupies the 3rd and 4th floors of a contemporary building. On the first floor of the apartment is an open plan living/kitchen/dining room with a small but fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, a large corner sofa with a coffee table and shelves with books and music players. There is also a dining table seating 6. The space opens onto a large terrace with an alfresco dining table seating 6 and 2 sun loungers. The primary bedroom is also on this floor, occupying the other side of the apartment and comes with a queensize bed, a desk and a bathroom with a shower. On the second floor there are 2 kids’ rooms, both with a single bed, and one comes with a desk. There is a shared bathroom with a bathtub and shower, as well as a games room with access to a second terrace with outdoor seating.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
