The hip district of Canal Saint-Martin with its boho bars, foodie restaurants and canal side parks is just over a 15 minute walk away, while 2 local metro stations provide fast access to the rest of the city. Back at home there’s a roomy primary bedroom with its own terrace access and a spacious open plan living area with huge glass doors that open out onto the garden, so you’ll stay cool even when Paris sizzles.

Kids will love this city apartment with bonus garden space to play and picnic in and a spacious bed/playroom. Home to a family with kids, there are plenty of books and toys provided and a fun kids’ bedroom full of colorful art, crafts and things to play with. Every bedroom opens up onto the fenced garden so kids can go outside straight from their own room. The large living area provides additional hang out space with a corner sofa, TV and games console. The closest local playground is a short walk away and there are family-friendly restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Borrow bikes and seek out local viewpoints for fantastic views of the city and Eiffel Tower on a clear day or hop on the metro for fuss free travel around the rest of the city. The hosts can provide a crib, a highchair, a stroller and a baby bath on request.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 6 nights. The apartment is on the ground floor of a safe and secure building in a paved ‘no through road’. The windows have roller shutters. There are no stairs so it is easily accessible for toddlers and those with strollers. A secured parking space is also available. There is good WiFi throughout the apartment, and a washer/dryer is available. For those interested in borrowing bikes, the hosts might be able provide.

About the Location

This residence is located on a quiet residential street in Paris' 11th arrondissement with several food stores, restaurants and cafes/bars a few minutes’ walk away from the apartment. There are 2 metro stations offering fast connections to the city center just 5 minutes’ walk. Belleville Park, offering spectacular views over the city on a clear day, is 10 minutes on foot or a 15 minute stroll will get you to the famous Père-Lachaise cemetery, the final resting place of Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison and Chopin. The hip/arty neighborhoods of The Marais and Canal St Martin are a 15 – 20 minute walk, as are the Place de la Republique and the Place de la Bastille.

Accommodation Details

The residence has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom set over 1 floor. The main living area is open plan with a cozy corner sofa, armchairs and large sliding glass doors out to the garden at one end, and a large dining table seating 6 at the other. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen with everything a guest would expect, including a dishwasher. The 2 bedrooms both open out to the garden (via lockable doors). The primary has a queensize bed and desk space while the kids’ bedroom has 2 singe beds or 2 cribs (it cannot sleep 4 but the hosts can set it up as you wish to sleep 2 kids) with a desk, bean bag, bookshelves and toys. The shared family bathroom has a soaking tub. Outside there is a spacious garden, partly lawned and partly decked providing terrace space with a sofa set, and a dining table seating 4.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
