Perks for the Parents

A traditionally elegant apartment in the Bastille, just minutes away from the local playground. It sleeps 6. This is a great location for exploring Paris, being just footsteps away from the 8 metro line which gives you fast access to the city zoo in one direction, as well as the Palais Garner, Place du Concorde and Hôtel des Invalides if you head west.

Why Kids Love it

There are a few children’s books in the kids' bedroom and there are great spots nearby for families with younger children. It’s 1 block from the Square Trousseau, a city park with a playground, and 5 minutes’ walk from the Coulée Verte René-Dumont, a safe, leafy footpath running along a disused railway line from Bastille to the Bois de Vincennes.

Things to Know

No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. This apartment is on the third floor of the building, with an elevator for access.

About the Location

The apartment is located in the heart of the Bastille, with its wonderful array of bars and cafes nearby. The Ledru-Rollin metro station is at the end of the street and Gare de Lyon train station is under 10 minutes’ walk. The museums of Le Marais are just a short walk away and it’s less than 10 minutes on foot to the River Seine, for picturesque waterfront strolls.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. You’ll find an open plan living/dining room, which includes a desk and chair for a compact work space. The separate kitchen is small but perfectly formed, including a dishwasher, fridge and oven. The primary bedroom boasts a kingsize bed, plus doors opening onto a Juliet balcony. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the children’s room has 2 single beds. The bathroom is outfitted with a shower-over-bath and the washing machine. There’s also a separate WC.

Style Notes

White and light. A fresh white color palette is punctuated with pops of color, from the bold blue sofa to the patterned rug and minty green tiling. We love the gorgeous high ceilings and traditional cornicing in the living area, the unique marbled fireplace in the bedroom and the elegant Parisian parquet flooring.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival. In addition to the hostU+FFE2s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
