A light, bright and stylish apartment, in Paris’ trendy 11th arrondissement with a playground, parks and some of the city’s best restaurants on the doorstep. It sleeps 7 + 1. This roomy residence comes with views over the famous Père Lachaise cemetery park and the city with the Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel Tower visible on clear days. There’s a large living area with 2 interconnecting rooms and plenty of toys, books and entertainment, providing space to relax, socialize and play. The primary bedroom is the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day, with a kingsize bed and a chic ensuite with a soaking tub. Guests have use of the apartment block’s private garden and playground, handy for those with active little ones, as well an underground parking spot. For those who prefer public transport, there’s a metro station just 3 minutes’ walk away providing fast and easy access to Montmartre and the city center. The hosts can provide babysitter recommendations on request.

Home to a family with young kids, there are plenty of books and toys provided, and a fun kids’ bunkroom full of crafts and things to play with. The large living area provides additional hang out space with a comfy corner sofa, a Sonos music player, a Nintendo Switch games console and a smart cinema style TV with all the usual streaming services for movie nights in. For those who need more run around space, the apartment comes with access to a private shared garden with a sandpit, slide, and plenty of space to roam. For older ones, there’s a municipal swimming pool a few doors down, and a tennis court next door. Across the road is the wild and leafy Père Lachaise cemetery, and there are several other parks a short drive or cycle away including Belleville and the gorgeous Bois de Vincennes which has lakes, flower gardens and the Paris Zoological Park. The hosts can provide a crib, 2 Stokke highchairs, a changing table, baby bath and a bouncer.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 2 nights. The apartment is on the 8th floor of a shared building which has an elevator; there are 2 small flights of stairs on the ground floor to reach the lift. There is WiFi and a desk can be placed in the living room or the bedroom for those needing to work. There is also a laundry unit with a washer/dryer for added convenience. Parking is available in the underground car park; there is step-free access from the car park to the apartment building. Sorry, no pets.
About the Location
The apartment is located in the family-friendly 11th arrondissement, home to several of the city’s best restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The neighborhood is leafy and safe with a weekly market every Wednesday and Saturday morning. The famous Père-Lachaise cemetery, the final resting place of Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison and Chopin amongst others, is just across the road. Belleville Park, offering spectacular views over the city on a clear day, is 25 minutes on foot or an 8 minute drive, while the larger Bois de Vincennes is a 15 minute drive. The hip/arty neighborhoods of The Marais and Canal St Martin are around a 30-minute walk or a 15-minute drive. The closest metro station is just 3 minutes’ walk from the apartment with direct trains to Montmartre, and connections to the rest of Paris. The nearest international airport is Charles de Gaulle, a 40-minute drive, while the Gare du Nord for Eurostar trains is 25 minutes by car or 20 minutes by train.
Accommodation Details
The residence has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and is on the 8th floor of a 1960’s apartment building, with an elevator. The central living areas include a large living room with a corner sofa, chairs, a library, a workspace, a games console, a record player, a Sonos sound system and a 50-inch smart TV, framed by views of peaceful greenery of the Père Lachaise cemetery. An open corridor connects this with the open plan kitchen-diner which overlooks the city skyline. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances including an oven, induction stove, dishwasher, microwave, Sage coffee machine, Magimix and Dualit toaster. The Primary bedroom has a kingsize bed, and a bathtub and sink, with views over the garden and city. The second bedroom has a double pull-out sofabed, as well as a desk and can be used as an office space. The third bedroom is the kids’ room and contains a bunk bed sleeping 2, and an additional pull-out toddler bed; there is also space for a crib (the hosts can offer a Stokke crib or a Snuz 'next to me' crib). The family bathroom has a large rainforest shower, toilet and a double sink. There is an additional WC for convenience, and a utility with a separate washer and dryer.

Mid-century chic. A gorgeously bright apartment with large windows and floor to ceiling balcony doors that flood in the light, and the breeze in summer. Recently renovated throughout, there are plenty of contemporary touches, including a chic bathroom with Moroccan tiles and a smooth cement bathtub in the primary bedroom. A soft color palette with warm bursts of color compliments the wooden floors, and luxurious velvet upholstery, producing cozy and decadent vibes. Book-filled shelves, handpicked art works and colorful cabinetry add further character and homeliness, inviting guests to fully relax. We love the overarching mid-century vibes with vintage finds sitting comfortably beside contemporary Scandinavian pieces, to create a warm but minimalist space made for unwinding in.
