The Rue de Passy II Residence
Perks for the Parents
A classic and chic Parisian apartment in the beating heart of the 16th arrondissement. It sleeps 5 + 1. This family home is just moments from the high-end fashion district of Passy and the bucolic Jardin du Ranelagh - one of Baron Haussman’s crowning glories during his 19th-century reinvention of the city. You’re centrally located to explore shopping streets, traditional restaurants and the world-famous Eiffel Tower.
Why Kids Love it
There are 2 bedrooms that are ideal for kids here, with a few toys, books and children’s desks for reading or crafts. It’s 10 minutes’ walk to Parc du Passy, which has a playground and leads to the River Seine, and it’s close to the famous Trocadero gardens, known for its family-friendly play areas, aquarium and museum.
Things to Know
No smoking, pets or parties. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which must be signed and submitted. This property is located on the third floor, accessible by a lift. A baby cot, chair and further children’s amenities are available on request.
About the Location
Steps from Maison de Balzac, this home boasts superlative views across the refined Rue de Passy. Discover some of the best views of the Eiffel Tower across the Seine (it’s well worth the climb up the Chaillot hill) or head away from the crowds to escape in the huge Bois de Boulogne park. It’s a short walk to Passy or La Muette metro stations, and within easy reach of the train lines at Gare de Boulainvillers. The airport is less than an hour away.
Accommodation Details
The minimalist kitchen features integrated appliances and leads to a simple yet spacious living/dining room (with a table for 6, including a high chair). The hallway houses a snug office area. The primary bedroom features a double bed, wall-mounted TV, space for a crib and a smart bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 2 single beds; the third offers a single bed. The family bathroom contains a bathtub and shower. There’s also a separate WC down the hall.
Style Notes
Neutral and light. Elegant casement windows draw in sunlight to accentuate the generous living space, while a range of textures and a primary color palette adds interest and warmth. Quirky contemporary pieces can be seen dotted throughout, such as the unique dining area pendant light and the wall-hung taxidermy. We love the all-white kitchen, the patterned wallpaper in the WC and the grand entrance hall of the building.
