Style Notes

Color drama. This fun, light-filled home features comfy living areas and a state-of-the-art kitchen, with everything you need for a French feast. Bright colors and quirky patterns give the space character, with each bedroom decorated in its own unique color scheme. We love the industrial-style exposed beams, the bold blocks of purple and the geometric tile designs.

Pros: Location was great and near plenty of great bakeries and restaurants. It was also nestled into the apartment complex so it was not noisy at all even though we were on a busy street. Overall, the house was clean and spacious. There were 11 of us and it didn't not feel crammed at all. Multiple bathrooms were also a plus. Cons: The basement had a very musty and almost moldy smell to it. It is a basement so I understand this is somewhat to be expected; however, the smell was so strong that we did not want to spend any time in the basement. As a result, it felt like we paid for a floor that we did not even get to use. I think a dehumidifier and an air purifier would have helped. Additionally, Kid and Coe advertises itself as curating a selection of accommodations that are kid-friendly; however, this place was not exactly kid-friendly. In addition to the moldy/musty smell in the basement, there were no gates to the many flights of stairs. It was very dangerous and we constantly had to keep an eye on the little kids to ensure they were not going near the stairs. The house was not equipped with enough garbage bags for the kitchen or the bathroom garbage cans. I had to call and have the staff drop them off, which was find but slightly inconvenient. We also had to go out and buy our own paper towel. Some of the bathrooms only had toilets, and no sink to wash hands, so this was also a bit odd. Overall, I would stay here again but not for the price we paid for due to what was noted above.
