This classic Parisian apartment is delightful in its elegance with a grand piano and beautiful living spaces just a short stroll from Luxembourg Gardens. It sleeps 6. There is plenty of space for all the family with 3 beautiful living rooms – a lounge, dining room and music room. Bedrooms are very large and many have doors that open to the balcony with views over Paris. Cafes, restaurants and shops are all a short stroll away. Parents will appreciate the original artwork, sculptures and books that fill the apartment.

Why Kids Love it

The kids’ bedroom has 2 single / twin beds with a small, decorative rocking horse and brightly colored artwork on walls. A small trio of tables is great for drawing. Although there are no toys or books provided, there is the grand piano to make up some tunes and plenty of space to run and play inside. Outside, kids can enjoy the playgrounds and the vintage carousel at the Luxembourg Gardens, take a boat ride on the Seine, or try sweet treats at the famous patisseries in the area, such as Ladurée that made the macarons for the film Marie Antoinette.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. Safety notes: there is a balcony where young children should be supervised at all times. No smoking, pets or parties. Please note, there is air conditioning available in all 3 bedrooms, which can also switched to heating if needed. This home includes security cameras which are activated when the alarm is triggered. A meet and greet, luxury toiletries, towels and linen, a hotel clean and WiFi are all included in your stay.

About the Location

This Parisian apartment is in the 6th arrondissement of the capital. It’s close to the historic boulevard of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, lined with quaint cafes, charming bookshops, cinemas and boutiques. Immerse yourself in the literary history of the neighborhood by visiting the iconic Café de Flore or Les Deux Magots, where literary giants like Hemingway and Sartre once gathered. Other local must-sees include the iconic Luxembourg Gardens and Musée d'Orsay. The nearest subway station is Saint-Placide, a 1-minute walk, while the overland train station Gare Montparnasse is 15 minutes on foot. The international airport is around 45 minutes away, via train from Saint-Michel Notre-Dame station.

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the 5th floor with an elevator to the entrance. You’ll find an entrance hall with a trio of doorways leading to the living areas. On the right is a fully equipped kitchen with a table seating 4 and pantry. The separate dining room has a table seating 6 leading to a music room with a grand piano and books. The living room has a large sofa, several traditional armchairs and a fireplace. Next door is the primary bedroom with a super kingsize bed (made up of 2 single / twin beds), with a TV. Bedroom 2 has 2 twin / single beds. Both bedrooms have doors to a full bathroom with a bath, separate shower and Jack and Jill sinks. The 3rd bedroom has a kingsize bed next to a bathroom with shower and WC next door. There is a balcony to the front which can be accessed from several rooms.

The elegant Hausman-Parisian style ceilings, doors that you can open to the balcony, and traditional furniture all make you feel you’re living the Parisian life to its fullest. In the living room a bright red sofa vies for attention against an enormous bookcase and sweet bureau. A fascinatingly ornate serving hatch links the kitchen to the dining room. The bathrooms meanwhile are strictly contemporary. We love the herringbone parquet floors, the sumptuous vintage furniture and the location that makes exploring easy.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 10% of the booking total.
