We had a perfect stay at the Old Vicarage. The house is impeccably designed, and there’s a lot to keep the kids entertained in the summer or winter. Plenty of garden games for outside, board games or pool for staying inside. It’s well located for farm shops, groceries, and a lovely pub just on the corner. The tub in the master bathroom feels like a holiday itself. :) We can’t wait to come back!!

If you're looking for an absolutely quiet and idyllic place to relax, with plenty of space for kids to roam and loads of nearby attractions to enjoy, this spot is perfect. We had the best week here with our daughters and friends. Anna was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay and also answered questions throughout the week. The house was perfectly clean and set up for us. We even had marshmallows to roast in the firepit outside and a lovely bottle of wine to greet us. The Castle at Edgehill pub (less than five minutes walk away) is also a delicious spot with a gin distillery opening to the public in the next month and beautiful views. The kids found it so exciting to be dining in 'a castle'. We hope to come back in the summer but would recommend this spot year around. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

This house is like a hug! A charming, elegant, country house with loads of charm and character, Anna has made this house a gorgeous balance of charm and ease. Our kids settled into the bright & cheerful kids rooms and dove into the books and toys. The garden was a haven for yard games and the forest next door allowed our imaginations to build forts with sticks. This house was flooded with light in the day and we snuggled in, next to the warm fire on the cool February nights. Anna was great communicating as we planned our trip and made sure we had all we needed. Indeed we did! I would highly recommend the Old Vicarage and my only complaint is that this property sets such a high standard for our next rental!

Lovely home in a quiet village. Decor and amenities very high end and responsive host. Our family had a lovely time and would recommend. Very cute quaint pub at the bottom of the hill. Easy access with car to other picturesque Costwolds landmarks.

We had the most wonderful Christmas ever at the Vicarage with our family of four (two adults and two children, 8 and 4; plus another couple). Everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful, and Anna could not have been a better host. We felt very, very lucky to be staying there, enjoying the garden, cozy fires in the snug, and exploring the surrounding area (Anna's notes on things to do were so helpful). I dream of being back there at least once a day. Thank you, Anna!

We had a fabulous stay at Anna's house in the Cotswolds. She was a wonderful host and was great at communicating prior to our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, including sending a very handy list of local recommendations. The house itself was perfect for our two families, with 5 kids total, and we loved the little touches like handpicked fresh flowers in each room. The kids had a blast in the backyard with the trampoline, soccer goals and mini cars/construction equipment to ride on. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a long week end in may. We meaning 2 families, 5 kids between 1 and 6 and 4 parents, coming from London. We had a fantastic time, not only the design of the house is impeccable (and everything seems new), but with all the kids cutlery, bedroom, toys available (not forgetting the trampoline!) it's the most family-friendly place I've ever been into - and we've tried a lot. We will definitely come back as it is so easy to come from London (1h30 drive from notting hill), and within 5 minutes drive you have so many things to do: upton house, national herb center, really nice walks, pubs etc. You have logs in the fire pit ready for you, you have all you need to cook, you have fabulous cooking books, a pool, a great garden.... this will become our go-to place!

We had a fantastic time at Anna's house. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We were two families and had plenty of space for everyone plus the kids spent hours in the huge garden. The location is great as well to explore the Cotswolds but the house, garden and the pub 2 mins away are so nice you could easily spend a weekend without going further. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be returning.

We were looking for a sanctuary for a few days that would suit an age range from 5 - 70 years - and not one of us was disappointed! From the warm welcome that we received from Anna which included lovely, fresh flowers in every bedroom, stacks of wood for the fires which had been laid in readiness for our stay, and bowls of fruit including apples from the garden orchard, to the thoughtful touches of bathroom toiletries, toys for the children and ideas for local activities and experiences - everything had been carefully chosen with real thought for the guests and impeccable taste. The children were in heaven building dens, jumping on the trampoline and toasting marshmallows in the firepit. The adults were able to have a real break - all of the bedrooms were perfectly appointed and the sitting room was so cosy and inviting - a perfect place to relax and unwind, whilst the children safely burned off energy in the large garden and woodlands outside. There is so much to do on the doorstep: walks to warm local pubs, a National Trust house and gardens within walking distance, historic battlefields, an impressive farmshop, not to mention the Cotswolds and all that it has to offer. This is a really special place. We didn't want to leave!
