Style Notes

Contemporary classic. This stunning Italian villa mixes contemporary minimalism with comfort inside plus well preserved historic exteriors. The outside style of the buildings has been for the most part preserved but the inside has been entirely re-organized according to a minimalist and comfortable combination. The villa presents bright monochromatic design, mostly Italian furniture, and furniture designed and photography from owners, taken during their trips around Italy. We love the pared back sophisticated style.

I am a travel lover. As I got older, my addiction to Italy kept getting worse, so I kept coming again, again and again. Luckily my husband fell in love with this gorgeous country too ! Eventually, we were given the opportunity to purchase a property in Tuscany and decided that renovating houses and gardens locally would be the very best excuse to be in Italy as much as we wanted. But, as we still did not want to loose all our friends because of the distance from our hometown, we kept two houses with private pools so we can accommodate them with their kids when they come and visit us. As our friend's families only come from time to time, we are able to accommodate others.

Tuscany, Italy

Olive groves, vineyards and rolling hills

This region of central Italy is as picture-perfect as you’ve heard: all rolling countryside, cypress trees, hazy views and historic stone villages. For those too young to enjoy wine, olive oil and relaxing, there are water parks, child-friendly heritage sites and theme parks, meadows and woods to play in, and donkeys to befriend. Hire a car and explore the surrounding area, buy fresh pasta to cook at home later, or spend afternoons in vineyards deciding which variety of Chianti you like the best.
