Style Notes

Countryside chic. The apartment is part of Ripostena Country house, a private ancient hamlet restored according to traditional Tuscan style. It has traditional Tuscan touches - exposed brickwork, wooden furniture and terracotta floors - twinned with pretty sprigged linen and industrial-chic metalwork. The overall effect is comfortable and welcoming. The master bedroom has a stunning beamed roof and exposed brickwork wall. We love the setting as much as the property.

Tuscany, Italy

Olive groves, vineyards and rolling hills

This region of central Italy is as picture-perfect as you’ve heard: all rolling countryside, cypress trees, hazy views and historic stone villages. For those too young to enjoy wine, olive oil and relaxing, there are water parks, child-friendly heritage sites and theme parks, meadows and woods to play in, and donkeys to befriend. Hire a car and explore the surrounding area, buy fresh pasta to cook at home later, or spend afternoons in vineyards deciding which variety of Chianti you like the best.
