Style Notes
Beachside elegance. This beautifully renovated 17th century villa epitomizes coastal sophistication with pretty green shutters, French windows and light, spacious rooms full of period features. The residence has been artfully renovated throughout with high wood ceilings, cabochon tiles and a soft palette complemented by colorful patterned textiles. and bright lamps and ceramics. The bedrooms have been individually styled so guests can choose to suit their mood, from cool and calming greens and blues to warmer shades of peach, yellow and orange. Each is complimented by statement textiles, rattan and textured headboards, and handpicked furnishings including mahogany desks and cozy armchairs from which to soak in the view. Artworks combine vintage treasures with contemporary pieces from local artisans to present a characterful, homely space. The gardens have been given just as much thought and attention with landscaped Mediterranean planting to set off the sea views, and cultivated rose and vegetable gardens characteristic of a country estate. We love the uninterrupted, panoramic views of the coast, and the cleverly designed nooks and gathering spots in which to enjoy them - from the pretty solarium to the beautiful terraces, perfectly set up for enjoying a sunset aperitif.
