Idyllic and rustic. This warm terracotta-coloured abode with pale blue-gray shutters greets you and invites you to escape the world for a while. You’ll be in a valley, bordered by a river and tranquil countryside. The house is 17th century and renovated for comfort and style. The grand living room has a stone floor, original fireplace and classical furniture. Bedrooms and bathrooms mix vintage pieces with a contemporary mid-century modern aesthetic. We love the bedroom with the majestic, carved 4-poster bed, the exposed stone walls that nod to the building’s history, and the private, peaceful setting.
