Style Notes

Historic townhouse. This magnificent four-level Washington DC home sits within lovely, landscaped tree-lined streets amongst early-century, American Foursquare style homes. Set over 3200 sqft, the hosts have chosen custom finishes and beautiful decor to create a perfect fit for home and work life, particularly for families. The kitchen includes high-end stainless steel appliances, double door refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave and other cooking utensils and necessities so cooking at home will be a breeze. Tall ceilings, large oversized windows, exposed brick walls and exquisite furnishings add to the spacious and stylish atmosphere. We love the circular light fixture hanging over the primary bed, the fun floral print wallpaper in the kids room and that spectacularly sleek kitchen.

Washington DC, United States

The Smithsonian and beyond

Space rockets, giant pandas and spy disguises are just a handful of the things you can discover with the kids in DC. From the National Air and Space Museum to the Natural History museum, the International Spy Museum and the National Building Museum, there is no shortage of culture and history here, and most of these spots are both free and interactive, allowing tots to get fully involved. Don’t miss the National Mall (ideal by bike), and the city’s events - from the National Cherry Blossom Festival to Cinco de Mayo, there’s at least one blockbuster event per month bringing the city to life.
