Perks for the Parents

This newly-renovated hillside home in West Hollywood has a private rooftop hot tub plus beautiful views all over LA. It sleeps 5. Along with a stylish and spacious primary bedroom, there’s an ensuite soaking tub for peaceful relaxation. Head out to the rooftop terrace for the best views in the house - there truly is no spot more perfect to take in the balmy colors of the sky as the sun sets for the evening over the vibrant city. It's classic Hollywood here, so the rooftop wouldn't be complete without a bubbling hot tub to unwind in at the day's end.

Why Kids Love it

The residence is not ideal for children under 10, as younger kids may need supervision on the stairs. However it’s a great family space with 2 separate living rooms so everyone can have their own area to relax and retreat. It’s a short 10-15 minute walk from local playgrounds and a crib, high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can be provided on request. Older kids and teens will love visiting the Walk of Fame (10 minutes), Universal Studios and Warner Bros Studios (15 minutes). Los Angeles Zoo is also less than half an hour away.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. The flat is safe and secure on the 1-3rd floors with keyed entry from street level to the home door. There is a 1-car garage with limited outdoor parking nearby. There is a mezzanine level with stairs but no stair gate. It’s set over 3 floors so it may not be suitable for toddlers. The third bedroom is set up as an office, with a balcony and hillside views and can be an additional bedroom with a crib or single bed for a nanny or au pair. It’s approximately 30-40 minutes from LAX airport.

Style Notes

Mid-century modern. The house has been entirely renovated and furnished by a local Danish architect, FABRK Studio, based in Los Angeles and Copenhagen. They have used typical Scandinavian woods accented by Calacatta marble, with furniture classics by Jeanneret and other local Danish designers. A muted color palette, natural materials and luxurious marble finishings create a homely feel wherever you are in the house. The contemporary mid-century design masters the art of minimalism and presents a calming space to relax after a day of taking in all that the city of Los Angeles has to offer. We love the playful color accents in the bedrooms, the luxurious marble-topped kitchen and the modern black fittings in the bathrooms.
