This luxury, sleek beachside villa has 4 spacious bedrooms plus a bunkroom with glorious, uninterrupted views of the sea. It sleeps up to 10. You’ll find everything you need for a beach holiday on the English coast with a fully equipped kitchen, a cupboard stuffed with board games, a secure garden and outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip. The doors of the primary bedroom downstairs open directly to the garden. A spacious outdoor seating area is a great place to relax by simply listening to the waves on the beach, or by having a BBQ around a romantic fire.

Why Kids Love it

The fabulous beach is a huge draw for children of all ages and it’s directly accessible from the villa. There are no roads to cross and older children can be supervised from the balcony. When the tide is out, the expanse of sand is perfect for rock pooling, building sandcastles, or a game of cricket. Water sport lessons can be arranged in the village. Kids (and big kids) can try surfing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking and more. For history buffs, the nearby Fishbourne Roman Palace at Chichester is a vast, excavated villa with mosaics from 75 AD.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. Pricing varies, please enquire with the hosts for a quote to book. The hosts will require a £1000 security deposit paid directly to them in addition to their identity verification process. This is a dog friendly property. Access excludes the garage. Safety notes: internal stairs are ungated. There are ungated steps from the balcony to the garden where young children should take care. The garden is enclosed and secure. The additional bunk room sleeping 2 children is available on request. A private chef can be arranged for your stay with bespoke menus for your taste. For guests who like to keep fit while away, there is gym equipment on site.

About the Location

The villa is on the edge of East Wittering village, West Sussex, on England’s south coast and approximately 2 hrs, 15 mins by car from central London. The family-friendly village is a short walk away with an old-fashioned sweet shop, toy shop, and plenty of places to grab an ice cream or milkshake. It also has 2 mini supermarkets, a post office, local butchers, bakery and greengrocer. Drive 2 miles west to the Blue Flag beach of West Wittering, which offers views of the South Downs and is popular with water sports enthusiasts all year round. A 20-minute drive to Chichester offers a city centre with a range of shops, cafes and restaurants and a skyline dominated by the 12th-century cathedral.

Accommodation Details

This beach house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on 2 floors. On the 1st floor is the main living area with a large open plan kitchen / diner / sitting room with a woodburning stove that opens to a balcony with seating and views of the garden and sea. At the front of the house on this floor is a kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a tub. Another 4 bedrooms are on the floor below: 2 kingsize with their own ensuite bathrooms, plus 1 full / double and a kids’ bunk room that share a family bathroom with a walk-in shower. The garden has a patio with seating and a grassy lawn with direct access to the beach.

Sleek and serene. This light and airy marine residence has been stylishly curated with contemporary décor with blues and greens that echo the sea. The large, family-orientated open plan living and kitchen area on the top level makes full use of the impressive sea views. Quirky artworks adorn the walls, and the furnishings are modern yet cosy, should the weather mean a night in to snuggle up and watch a movie next to the fire. We love the luxurious touches including controlled eco-zone underfloor heating, the beachfront location with access via the garden gate, and the spectacular views of the beach from the upstairs balcony.

Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
