Parents will find it easy to relax in this idyllic Hamptons home, with its fresh contemporary interiors and gorgeous landscaped yard. The primary bedroom even has its own private deck, so you can watch the sunset from your balcony or bring out your morning coffee for a moment’s peace. The stunning backyard has been finished with a new gunite in-ground swimming pool and a bluestone patio, so it’s just as comfortable as the luxurious interiors inside. What’s more, the smart pool house has a TV, refrigerator, sofa area and bathroom, so you can spend the whole day outdoors when the sun is shining.

Why Kids Love it

This residence has plenty to do for children aged 4 and up. It’s a great family space with a spacious living room, fun children’s bedrooms and plenty of areas to play outdoors. They’ll love splashing around in the pool, or shooting hoops on the new half basketball court. The hosts also have a dome climbing play center on the grass and bikes of various sizes, and when the kids are all tired out, they can relax in the pool house to cool off and watch a movie. It’s a short drive to the local playgrounds and there are miles of sandy beaches to explore, just a few minutes away by car.

Things to Know

Minimum stay 14 nights. Safety notes: the backyard is gated and pool will be fenced in to ensure safety for young kids. Please note there is no stair gate on the 2nd floor, and no gate to the primary bedroom balcony, so young children should be supervised. The driveway can accommodate 2 cars comfortably and car hire is recommended. Sorry - no pets allowed, the host family is severely allergic to animal fur. The house is also a no-shoe residence. Beach passes for Rogers Beach will be provided for guests to use during their stay and bikes for the whole family are also available. Repeat guests are most welcome!

About the Location

This residence is located in the heart of Westhampton Beach village in the Hamptons, NY. The house is just a few minutes’ walk to Main Street, where there is a movie theater, restaurants, ice cream shops, a bakery, a wine store, and grocery stores. It’s 1.2 miles from Rodgers Beach (a 24-minute walk or a 3-minute drive). Further afield, it’s around 25 minutes’ drive to both Tanger Outlets and the North Fork, where kids can visit Harbes Family Farm. You can take the Long Island Railroad train to Westhampton Beach from New York City (2 hours). The nearest airports are in New York City: JFK, La Guardian are around 1.5 hours away.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 4 bedrooms, set over 2 floors. Downstairs, there is a family friendly living room and separate fully-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining area for 4. Upstairs, the primary bedroom (with a kingsize bed) has a private deck, its own private bathroom, a walk-in closet and a quiet sitting area facing the front of the house - perfect for parents. There are 2 children’s bedrooms, each with a set of bunk beds, suitable for kids aged 4 and up. This floor also has a family bathroom with a shower and bathtub. On the ground floor, there is an additional guest room with a very comfortable sofabed and an ensuite bathroom, which is ideal for a nanny or au pair. Outside, there is a large grassy backyard with a half basketball court, a children’s play area, a cozy pool house (with bathroom), and a heated swimming pool with an outdoor shower.

We love the colorful printed wallpaper in the kids room, the brick-built fireplace in the living room and the luxe marble finishes in the bathrooms.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
