The house is located in Wimbledon, south west London. The world-famous Lawn Tennis Club is at the end of the road, where you can watch tennis in the summer months or tour the historic museum on a visit all year round. Wimbledon Town and Southfields train stations are 20 minutes’ walk (and it’s around half an hour into central London) while picturesque Wimbledon Village, with its independent stores, boutique delis and pretty pubs, is just 10 minutes up the road. It’s around 45 minutes’ drive from Heathrow airport.
Accommodation Details
The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. There’s a sweeping, open plan kitchen and dining room with a generously-sized table for 6. This floor also has a study and 2 separate living rooms. Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms on the middle floor: 1 single room, 1 double room and 1 queensize room, together with a family bathroom with a bathtub. The primary bedroom has its own floor on the top level, with a kingsize bed and a well-equipped ensuite bathroom.
Style Notes
White and bright. Light-drenched and a classically British aesthetic creates a chic elegant space. Soft neutral tones and sash windows give the bedrooms a classic feel, while the contemporary bathrooms and kitchen look sleek and sophisticated. We love the cute wall mural for children, the elegant double bay windows overlooking the garden and the perfectly manicured garden.
