This residence has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The ground floor is home to the spacious open plan living/dining room: the recently renovated kitchen includes a breakfast bar for 3, leading to a dining table seating 8, and a cozy living area. There are also 4 bedrooms downstairs (2 rooms with queensize beds; 1 owner's room with a kingsize bed; 1 with a double bed) plus 2 full bathrooms. The largest bedroom is upstairs, with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. This floor also has the baby room (with a crib), a full bathroom, and a mezzanine play area. An additional blow up toddler bed and pack n play are also available. All the bedrooms are equipped with sun shades and brand new Roku TVs. The basement is set up as a game room with a pool table, ping pong, dart board, games and separate couch area. Outside, there is a Weber grill, 2 picnic tables, fire pit, hot tub, and lounge area.

Style Notes

Rural retreat. The house is clean, bright and modern with lots of natural sunlight. The living area is bathed in light during the day with beautiful scenic views. It feels homely and comfortable - not too precious for kids - so everyone can feel relaxed and enjoy the space. The hosts have decorated with neutral tones using a peaceful white and grey palette to create a calming space that’s ideal for weary visitors. We love the cozy fireplace in one of the two primary bedrooms downstairs, the luxurious marble finishes in the bathroom, and the beautiful rustic wood furniture in the living room.

Hi! I live in Brooklyn with hubby, and two kids- 6 and 2! After vacationing in Woodstock for 10 years we took the plunge and bought/renovated our 1st home in 2017. Now a Superhost with over 90 reviews on Airbnb I took on the challenge of renovating a second home just 1 mile away from the 1st in Woodstock. The goal is for both homes to be well appointed for adults but EXTREMELY family-friendly so you don't have to bring a thing with you. You can follow the construction journey on instagram.com/rentwoodstock.

Woodstock, Catskills

Green, organic and free range

Head to the Catskills and Woodstock for an eco-friendly retreat: wooded hillsides, hiking trails, lakes, rivers and plenty of space to run, yell and play. Artists, writers and musicians have made this rural spot a colony for the arts - and there’s great home-baked food here too.

A big hit with our tween boys, especially the basement-level game room including arcade games, and ping pong, the hot tub and TVs in every room. House is spacious, comfy, with plenty of light. We slept soundly. Location is perfect - quiet and secluded, but a very close drive to stores and restaurants. Alicia was great - accessible, proactive, responsive. Does have more of a vacation-rental feel to it with less design-driven sensibility than some of the well-appointed KidandCoe homes we've stayed at. Ideal for a family reunion/large group settings.
