This chic, monochrome apartment is ideal for those traveling with younger children and is close to playgrounds, parks and beaches. The location makes it easy to enjoy Sydney’s many family friendly treats, with cycle tracks, libraries, playgrounds and beaches nearby. It is moments by train or bus to museums, art galleries, an outdoor moonlight cinema, a Gold Class cinema, shopping centres and sports stadiums (SCG, Allianz stadium). There are local fresh markets every weekend in Bondi Beach and Paddington and a vast range of designer boutiques within walking distance.

Why Kids Love it

The residence is safe, clean and has a great range of toys. There is plenty provided for younger guests, including a crib, change table, high chair, vast range of toys, books, feeding utensils, baby bath, stroller, trike, educational DVD's, record player, baby monitor, steriliser and safety gates for play area. An additional travel cot and buggy are available on request. There are lots of playgrounds, parks, libraries and a cycle track within easy walking distance and plenty of family-suited restaurants nearby. The kids bedroom has a crib and nursery items; a double and single air bed and further travel crib can accommodate further children.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 days. The residence is on the first floor within a secure building with intercom access. It is walking distance to train or bus links with designated parking for 1 car. All day gym access is a 10-minute walk away. The building is set back from the street so is convenient but also quiet and exclusive from the traffic. It has a separate communal laundry with commercial washing machine, dryer and outdoor clothes line and is walking distance to grocery, butcher and bakery and dry cleaner.

About the Location

The residence is in the Woollahra area of Sydney, a family-friendly neighbourhood in close proximity to the CBD, hospitals (St Vincent's, Sydney Children's) and award-winning restaurants (Guillaume, Chiswick, Lucio's). It is walking distance to a grocery, butcher and bakery and dry cleaner. Nearby there is a choice of 3 local libraries, and many playgrounds and parks. The closest beach is Redleaf Beach, a 5-minute drive away. It is a 30-minute drive from Sydney Airport and a 15-minute walk to Double Bay Ferry.

Accommodation Details

This first floor apartment in a secure boutique building has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It includes a study or games room, separate gourmet kitchen with gas oven and cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and family-size fridge. There is an open plan lounge and dining area with fireplace, cable TV and ceiling fans. The bathroom has a rainshower, bathtub and separate hand shower mixer. The master bedroom has a queensize bed while the second bedroom is set up as a nursery with a crib. There is parking available for 1 car.

Style Notes

Art Deco meets modern. This light-filled home has original Art Deco detailing with modern luxury touches and a monochrome palette throughout. There are dark wooden floors throughout with natural carpet in the study/games room, white plantation shutters and comfortable luxurious furnishings. The children’s room is decorated with neutral tones, natural timber and hints of grey. We love the dark and glamorous bathroom with marble detail and the beautiful modern photography and artwork throughout.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We are a young family. We love to explore; our favourite time is spent at Centennial Park, this is our local park to see the many ducks, cockatoo's, horses and dogs out walking. We always stop for a croissant from a bakery only minutes from popular Queens Street, the go to destination of boutique shops including the famous 'Kidstuff' toy store. We joined Kid & Coe from a blog recommendation and we are huge fans!

Very lovely house with an extra eye for details! We loved the cute kids room and the comfy parents room. The house has a stylish vibe but is relaxed at the same time. Thanks to the huge trees in front of the house we didnt even feel city-centered, although everything is just a hop on the bus/ metro away. Thanks Michelle for having us!
