Why Kids Love it

All kids will love the open spaces within and outside this country retreat. There is a big trampoline to jump on, a treehouse, a pool and more than enough nature to explore. There are children’s toys and games to get stuck into on quiet afternoons. Further afield there are plenty of child-friendly sandy beaches and sea within a 15-minute drive for picnics, bbqs and water fun. Try Talamanca beach, a lovely white stretch of sand in a bay next to Ibiza town, or Es Canà, a small resort on the east coast with pedalos, water activities and a calm, shallow sea.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 1 night. Kids can safely play around the Loft but will need supervision around the pool which is ungated but a short walk away up the mountain from the property. The pool is shared. Amenities include air conditioning, high-speed WiFi throughout and a dishwasher. There is a fireplace and a fire guard. A crib, high chair and children's dinnerware are available. A housekeeper and a babysitter can also be provided if required.

About the Location

The Loft is a detached building surrounded by countryside, 20 meters from the main house and casita. It is located near the village of Sant Llorenç de Balafia, which is between the village of San Lorenzo and the beach Aguas Blancas. Atzaro, one of the best-known destination spas on the island, is within a 30-minute walk or 4-minute drive. After a short ride on a dirt camino, you're on the main road and within 5 minutes’ drive in San Lorenzo, San Juan and San Carlos. Ibiza town and its airport are 20 minutes away. The nearest beaches are Aguas Blancas and Benirras, around 10 minutes’ drive.

Accommodation Details

The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. An open plan living space with a kitchen/ lounge and dining area (seating up to 4) is linked by polished concrete floors and walls. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out to the sun terrace with 2 lounging chairs and outdoor dining for summer socialising. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living space for the winter. The bathroom has a tub, sink, and rainwater shower. The 2 bedrooms are queensize. Surrounding the house is open countryside and a shared swimming pool a little walk up the hill.

Style Notes

Contemporary cool. The Loft is a renovated former warehouse/ stable, superbly designed by the owner’s design company, Ibiza Interiors. Inside are 2 natural and super comfortable Coco-mat beds, an Eginstill steel design kitchen and a bathroom with a black free-standing bath, a herringbone stone floor and with views over the valley. The use of natural materials root the house to its surroundings while a high modern finish gives it a contemporary edge. Art by local artists and designer furniture complete the look.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
